Sankathy LighthouseQ: Do you provide pick up transportation from Ferries and/or Airports?
A: No, but there are plenty of cabs available at both places for a quick trip to the Beachside Inn.

Q: What are the opening and closing hours for the pool?
A: 9 am to 6pm or sometimes later based upon weather.

Q: Do you have lounge chairs, beach towels, bikes available for rent?
A: Yes, lounge chairs and beach towels available at the Front Desk. There are nearby bike rental places that will deliver bikes to the Beachside.

Q: Do you have a restaurant?
A: No. However, Complimentary coffee and muffins are served daily from 8 am to 10 am to our guests. Wine is available for purchase at the front desk for age appropriate guests.

Q: What do we do if it rains?
A: Dreamland Theater for current movies, The Whaling Museum Tours or the Maria Mitchell Aquarium… plus the Beachside has many movies available at the front desk, as well as many fun board games, outdoor lawn games, etc.

Q: How far away are we from the ferries, main street, beaches, convenient stores, liquor stores and restaurants?
A: Everything is within waking distance to The Beachside Inn.

Q: How near is the closest NRTA shuttle stop?
A: A minutes walk directly across the street from The Beachside Inn.

Q: Where is the nearest ATM machine?
A: 8 minutes walk away at the Steamship Terminal.

Q: What is there to do on the island with small children?
A: Whaling Museum Tours, the Maria Mitchell Aquarium, Children’s Beach, and much more.

Q: What type of Tours are available on the island?
A: Gail’s Tours & Barrett’s Tours.
